Palouse Doula Association Membership Requirements
- Complete a doula training workshop through a recognized Doula organization (DONA, ALACE).
- Apply for provisional membership.
- If granted an interview, you will interview with members of the Palouse Doula Association and at least one hospital staff representative.
- After a successful interview you become a provisional member of the Palouse Doula Association.
- Receive 3 good evaluations from each; client, nurse and physician/midwife.
- Receive certification through a recognized Doula organization.
- After you receive good evaluations and certification you will be accepted into the Palouse Doula Association.
